These photos were taken with a typical digital camera of one of my best friends. We basically packed up a bunch of clothes and drove around Crozet and took pictures of each other. :)

I'm ready for heals!
My 5 year old sister is OBSESSED with heals, and she really enjoys taking my shoes and clinking around the house regularly. This photo was taken for a high contrast assignment and was then solarized for the interesting effects you can see here. I was very pleased with the level of detail that came out considering this was my first time experimenting with Solarol.

This menorah was also found in my pastor's office, which was exceptionally interesting to me, but I really liked its placement on the windowsill. The menorah itself is really funky colors, it's pretty sweet. This was done for a still life assignment, and clearly this menorah is very calmly being still, basking in the sunlight :)
It's almost Easter :)
So, I found this cross/wicker trunk in my pastor's office, who has the strangest vintage gadgets in her office. She's a bit of a hipster pastor, so she has some really cool stuff. This photo is very obviously of a crucifix and after printing, it was sepia toned to give an antiqued look.
this child is only 13...my goodness.
This is a photo of my younger sister, Afton, who is merely 13 years old. The girl looks like she could be the same age as me, and the older we get, people say that we're twins. This picture was taken beside a large rock in a cow pasture near where we live, and it was part of a series of photos that I took of all three of my sisters (and had a friend do a few of all of us and myself) for a birthday present for my mom. The photos were matted with a 5 opening window mat, and the finished product lives on our piano at home!
